about Cat

Cat loves dogs and has a true understanding of canine behavior. In conjunction with having over 18 years of experience, she has received numerous dog training and nutritional certifications. She is CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed), Fear Free Pet, and Raw Dog Food Nutrition Specialist certified. In addition Cat is a member of both the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants) and APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers) organizations. Cat also volunteers with the foster program at the SPCA of Dallas providing behavioral rehabilitation training to dogs who exhibit fear of people, other dogs, and new environments.

Cat specializes in helping puppies and adult dogs become confident and joyful members of the family. Using positive reinforcement methodologies to capture and re-shape desired behaviors is the basis to Cat’s success. puppy training, positive behavior modification, and socialization training.

Helping dogs become more comfortable in their paws, so families can joyfully love life with their dog(s). Always having had an innate passion for animals, especially dogs, she has developed a true understanding of how our four-legged friends think, communicate and express themselves.

Cat’s reliable and fun character has earned her a fabulous reputation and client base for over 18 years. Originally based in Laguna Beach, California, she is happy to announce that she has recently relocated her business to North Plano, Texas.

Understanding that each canine client has their own unique personality, exercise needs, and sociability level, she takes each of these variables into consideration when planning their training programs which that include social and physical activities.

Holding a true passion for dogs and celebrating their magical essence is what Cat does best!

Using positive reinforcement techniques coupled with exercise routines, Cat is able to help reshape negative canine behaviors into rewarding behaviors. Ultimately, resulting in a socially happy and healthy dog every owner dreams of.
