About Cat Walks Dog®

I started Cat Walks Dog® in Laguna Beach in 2004, building a trusted local walking company centered on thoughtful, individualized care.

Over the years, I kept meeting dogs who did not fit the usual model: dogs who struggled with loud sounds, crowded spaces, social pressure, impulse control, fear, or reactivity. Their families loved them deeply, but standard group walks and generic advice were not enough.

In 2018, I relocated to North Texas and focused more deeply on canine behavior, learning, and welfare. I earned my Certified Professional Dog Trainer–Knowledge Assessed credential (CPDT-KA), became Fear Free Certified, and volunteered with the SPCA of Dallas, supporting dogs with complex behavioral needs as they prepared for life in new homes.

Now back in Orange County, I am relaunching Cat Walks Dog® with a more focused mission offering: individualized, positive-reinforcement-based training programs for dogs who need more than exercise—and for families who want the peace of mind that comes from experienced, thoughtful support.
